Material & Thickness Guidance

A detailed breakdown of materials, thickness capacities, and core applications handled in our Jogeshwari West workshop.

Acrylic (Plexiglass)

Acrylic is our most popular material. When laser cut, it results in a flame-polished, perfectly glossy and crystal-clear edge. Ideal for outdoor signages, display boxes, corporate awards, trophies, scale models, and interior screens.

Available Thicknesses:
1.5mm 2mm 3mm 5mm 8mm 10mm 12mm 15mm 20mm
Best Applications:
  • Glowing LED brand logos and signboards
  • Exhibition display cases and boxes
  • Architecture student scale models
  • Personalized corporate awards and shields

MDF & HDMR Board

Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) and High-Density Moisture-Resistant (HDMR) boards are ideal for sturdy architectural panels, partition grills, structural model bases, and stencils. Laser cut edges have a dark, clean carbon finish.

Available Thicknesses:
2.3mm 3mm 5.5mm 8mm 11mm 17mm 25mm
Best Applications:
  • Decorative wall panels and room partition grilles
  • Heavy structure scale model bases
  • Paint stencils and custom framing templates
  • Laser cut furniture panels

Pine Wood & Plywood

Solid Pine Wood and Birch Plywood offer a warm, natural texture. Ideal for high-end corporate boxes, customized engraving, home decor plaques, and photo frames. Laser cutting creates a beautiful charred, rustic edge.

Available Thicknesses:
3mm 4mm 6mm 9mm 12mm 18mm
Best Applications:
  • Premium walnut / pine corporate gift boxes
  • Laser-engraved wooden photo plaques
  • Executive desk organizers and letter trays
  • Hobbyist mechanical puzzle models

Balsa Wood (Scale Models)

Balsa Wood is extremely lightweight and soft, making it the industry standard for architecture students' scale models. Our CO2 lasers can cut it with sub-millimeter precision and near-zero carbon charring, making assembly incredibly easy.

Available Thicknesses:
1mm 1.5mm 2mm 3mm 4mm 5mm 6mm 8mm
Best Applications:
  • Architecture scale model wall templates
  • RC aircraft structure wings and frames
  • Precision scale model prototyping

Fabric & Leather

Laser cutting fabrics seals the edge perfectly to prevent fraying. For real and synthetic leather, laser engraving creates a sharp, deep embossed contrast. Ideal for apparel patches, wallets, and custom stencils.

Available Thicknesses:
0.5mm 1mm 1.5mm 2mm 3mm
Best Applications:
  • Engraved leather patches for bags and jeans
  • Intricate lace fabric cutouts for apparel
  • Custom stencils for upholstery branding
  • Engraved leather wallets and mousepads

Paper & Cardboard

We offer rapid vector cutting for mount boards, cardboard packaging prototypes, and invitation cards. Our system cuts complex lace patterns with speed and accuracy, preventing burn marks on paper stocks.

Available Thicknesses:
100gsm 200gsm 300gsm 1mm 1.5mm 2mm 3mm
Best Applications:
  • Architecture mounting board wall models
  • Intricate wedding invitation card patterns
  • Custom retail packaging box prototypes
  • Stencil designs for art and crafts
